  • Scott A. Fray, DVM

    Veterinarian/Practice Owner

    Dr. Fray is a 1991 graduate of the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine, and has been in private mixed practice since then.  After a couple of years of practice in southeast Nebraska, he purchased Cooper County Animal Hospital in 1994. Boonville has since become "home" for Dr. Fray and his family.  He continues to practice part time in the practice.

  • Andrea J. Reuter, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Reuter (pronounced same as "rider") joined our staff in June of 2007 after graduating from the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has extensive experience in both small animal and farm animal medicine, and is our primary Equine practitioner.  Having grown up in the area, she is familiar with our community and clients.

  • Rachel A. Nolan, DVM

    Veterinarian

    Dr. Nolan graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018. She initially went into mixed animal practice before choosing to focus solely on small animal medicine. Dr. Nolan's professional interests include dermatology, comprehensive preventative care, and open communication with pet owners. Although a St. Louis native, Dr. Nolan has lived in Boonville for the last 4 years with her husband, 2 dogs, 4 cats, and pet axolotl.

    Kelly has been our Practice Manager since 1995. She assists the practice owner in all business activities and helps to oversee our health care team.

    Office Manager

    Jennifer is a 1995 graduate of Boonville High School. She joined our team in March of 2001 with 6 years experience in a human health care office. Jennifer oversees the office staff, medical records, and client accounts. She also manages our on-line store, website, and social media.

  • Courtney Smith, RVT

    Technician

    Courtney is a 2012 graduate of Fayette High School. She is a 2014 graduate of The Vet Tech Institute at Hickey College in St. Louis. She joined our health care team in September 2014. In November of 2014 Courtney passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and in January of 2015 she passed the Missouri State Board Exam.

  • Nicole Cottrell

    Technician

    Nicole is a 2000 graduate of New Franklin High school and a 2004 University of Missouri graduate with a BS in Biology. She re-joined our staff in March 2007 after working for years in a small animal clinic setting in Columbia.  She worked for CCAH years previously in High School, and still remembers our clients, and, yes, even some of our patients from years ago.

    Megan is a 2022 graduate of CHS. She grew up in the Ozark area and moved to Boonville after graduation. She plans on starting college in fall of 2022 with Penn Foster to obtain a Veterinary Technician degree. Megan started with CCAH September of 2022. In her spare time she enjoys her passion of photography and art.

    Shelby is a New Franklin, MO native. She graduated NFHS in 2019 and then went on to obtain her bachelor's degree in biology at Drury University where she graduated in 2023. Shelby most enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs Doc, Boss, June, and Cal. We welcomed her to the CCAH team in July of 2023.
